The settled record is open — CC BY 4.0

Every settled call — verdict date, settlement date, stance, relative return versus BTC, and the resulting hit / miss / push — is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. You may copy it, redistribute it, build on it, and use it commercially.

The one condition is attribution: credit CoinVerdict and link back to coinverdict.io. Full licence text: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

This covers the machine-readable record: /api/v1/receipts, the tables on /receipts and /kol, and the Dataset markup on those pages.

The written analysis is not

Verdict reports, written commentary and the prose on this site are NOT covered by that licence. They remain our copyright. Quoting a sentence with attribution is fine; republishing reports wholesale is not.

The line is simple: the numbers are facts and facts should be free to check. The writing around them is the product.

Why we open the data

A public record nobody can independently check is just a claim. Opening the settled rows means anyone can recompute our hit rate, challenge the rule, or run it against their own baseline — which is the entire point of publishing misses alongside wins.

It also means we cannot quietly revise history: the numbers are out there, in other people's hands, timestamped.

No warranty, no advice

The data is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Nothing here is financial advice. Settlement follows a fixed, versioned rule (settle_v1: T+7 days versus BTC, ±3% band) — the rule is published so you can disagree with it explicitly rather than guess at it.
